A vast glowing Nova sits enthroned, and tiny Cosmo gazes up at her, ready to worship the one who sees the patterns. Nova, from her silver throne, looks down — and the look on her face is not the look of a deity. It is the look of someone faintly embarrassed by the altar. The shrine got it backwards. The pattern-seer didn't want a follower kneeling below. She wanted a partner standing level.
