Cosmo stands small in a room tiled entirely in hexagons, facing a mandala that pours light like a held breath. Luminous crystals cluster at his feet. He came expecting a pretty room. He is getting an argument made of geometry: the hexagon is the bee's answer to a hard question — most space, least wall. The mandala is the same answer, sung. The chamber is whispering that beauty is often just a problem solved so cleanly it started to glow.
