MASK GALLERY — GILDED WALLS, A RED VELVET THRONE. On the throne sits a half-painted face, the most honest object in the room because it admits it is unfinished. Cosmo holds a mask to his eyes; across the gallery a punk-styled Stella tries on another; Nova floats above the hundreds of faces lining the walls. The gallery seems to ask which mask is the real you. Wrong question. The throne's half-painted mask gives the right one: every face here is a costume — and the self is not any of them, the self is the hand that keeps reaching for the next. Cosmo lowers the mask, just slightly, and feels the hand. 💡 THE INSIGHT: You are not the mask you wear. You are the one who keeps choosing which to try on. 📐 THE EQUATION: A wall of masks − the chooser = an empty gallery 🚀 Cosmo: "There's a thousand faces in here.
