UPPER PANEL: Nova glows above a luminous geometric mandala on a teal reef. LOWER PANEL: Cosmo stands among bright living corals. Cosmo looks up at his own panel's ceiling — the glowing mandala — and treats it as a separate thing, an abstract diagram floating in a different room from where he lives. Then a current of light crosses the seam between the two panels and he sees it: the mandala's spokes are the reef's coral branches, simplified. The diagram above is not a different subject. It is the *map* of the garden he is standing in. He had been treating the blueprint and the building as strangers, when they were always the same place, drawn once in line and once in life. 💡 THE INSIGHT: The clean diagram and the messy living thing are never two things.
