"Dreams are the touchstones of our characters." — Henry David Thoreau (d. 1862) 🔮 THE PLOT TWIST: INT. PASTEL DREAMSCAPE — SWIRLING CLOUD, FALLING PETALS, A SMALL NOTEPAD ADRIFT. Cosmo and Nova drift weightless in the soft swirl, stars and petals turning slowly around them. Just out of reach floats a small notepad. Cosmo kicks toward it, the way he'd swim for a thing in the waking world — and the kick only spins him, the notepad sliding further off. He tries again. Same. Then he stops fighting the dreamscape's physics, goes still, lets himself drift — and the notepad, riding the same gentle current, curves quietly back toward his open hand. In here, the idea is never caught by chasing. It is met by relaxing into the same slow drift the idea is already taking. 💡 THE INSIGHT: Some ideas can't be chased down. You catch them by going still enough to share the current they're riding. 📐 THE EQUATION: a drifting idea − the urge to chase it + stillness = the idea curving back into your hand 🚀 Cosmo: "Every time I kick toward the notepad it floats *further*. ...So I just — stop?
