Cosmo, Stella and Luna stand at the lip of a cliff that is visibly coming apart, gazing into a vast field of drifting rock; Nova hovers; a glowing thread loops down from their feet into the deep. The edge is genuinely dangerous — the collection never pretends otherwise. But look at the thread: it ties them to each other and to safety. They are not standing here because the edge is safe. They are standing here because awe is worth the edge, and because nobody crossed it untethered.
