Nova meditates inside a calm ring of light, unmoved. Stella plants her feet on a rock and conducts the lightning like an orchestra. The huge tranquil face in the clouds is not a god watching them fail — it is the storm's own stillness, the eye, proof that calm was inside the weather the entire time. The vortex is making the collection's steadiest point: the storm does not decide how you stand in it. You do.
