LEFT: Cosmo sits on glowing coral, a soft thought-bubble above him. RIGHT: Nova stands among bright crystals, her own thought-bubble drifting. The 'versus' mark says fight — pick a winner, coral or crystal, soft thought or sharp thought. Cosmo reads it that way at first and braces to defend his side. Then he actually looks at the two thought-bubbles. His is a loose, curling line. Nova's is a clean drop of light. They are not the same thought, and they are not contradicting each other either. The 'vs.' was a mislabel. What sits between the panels is not a duel.
