"All things are number." — Pythagoras (d. c. 495 BCE) 🔮 THE PLOT TWIST: INT. SUNLIT GREENHOUSE — BRASS GEARS, COPPER VINES, A CLOCKWORK FLOWER MID-BLOOM. Cosmo reaches toward a flower built of gears; Nova hovers; Stella studies a mechanical sunflower turning to follow a light that is also a calculation. The greenhouse sets up a question every builder asks: does the gear belong in the garden? The flowers, calmly opening on their brass stems, answer it. A petal's curve and a gear's tooth are both solutions — both shapes that work. The Bauhaus knew it, Pythagoras knew it longer: number underlies the bloom as surely as the bloom delights the eye.
